Meisam Moafi: A Journey through Music and Education

tehran-tarna:Meisam Moafi (born July 16, 1980) is an Iranian singer, musician and music teacher. He is the fourth child of an art-loving family. His father, Dr. Behzad Maafi, was the founder of the Tehran Conservatory of Music (1999), the first international music education institute.  

He started playing music at the age of 13 with setar, tar and daf instruments. In 1999, he  began his undergraduate studies in music at Soura University. In 2004, he was accepted in the field of classical singing at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow under the supervision of Professor Skoni Chenko, and finally in 2013, he started studying for a master's degree in human resources education and improvement at Shahid Beheshti  University. In 2008, he released his first official track called Rasoul Rahmat, and two albums with the  names Hagh Ba Toe and I Love You and several songs as well as national patriotic works are part of his artistic career. In addition to singing, he is also a professional musician and teacher of TAR.

• In 2011, he established Nedaye Honar Iranian Company. Among the activities of this  

company, we can mention the issuance of licenses for publishing works and audio albums,  

holding concerts inside and outside the country, and playing music on global reference  

platforms. 

• This popular artist has also carried out charitable and friendly cultural and sports  

activities throughout the country. 

• He has been teaching art courses at the Tehran Conservatory of Music since 2004 and  

also works as the deputy and head of the music group.
