The Barsam Literary Session was held at the Tehran International Book Fair

According to the Iran Poetry News Agency - Tarna, the Barsam Literary Association organized a poetry reading and critique session on Friday, May 17, 2024, in collaboration with and hosted by the Iran Poetry News Agency.

In this session, a group of prominent poets gathered at the Tarna media station at the Tehran Book Fair to read and critique poems.

Shahin Bahrami is the secretary of the Barsam Literary Association located in Karaj. This association was established in 2023 and has started significant activities in literature with the inauguration of the association. Shahin Bahrami believes that they can make significant strides in the literary community in the field of classical and modern poetry critique and education, as well as songwriting.

In this session, Professor Jamal Beig, the secretary of the Faragoftar Literary Association in Karaj, spoke about the Faragoftar style as a branch of modern poetry that has been active for over three decades and strives to expand and promote literature.

The session featured honorary poetry readings by Saber Ghadimi and was accompanied by Mohammad Reza Shalbaghan. Other poets included Akbar Rashno, Mohammad Reza Shahooei, Hossein Ma’dali, Maedeh Esfarm, Ramin Akbari, Fatemeh Nami, Amir Hosseini, Farzaneh Abuali, Leila Majdipour, Asadollah Rostami, Ali Akbar Roohollahi, Mojgan Monfared, Somayeh Bahrkazemi, Shahram Faraz, Mohammad Shahidi Zadeh, and Seyedeh Sedigheh Ghodsiniya.
