TEHRAN-TARNA:Presence of Persian Historical poets at Tarna Media Station  At the 35th Tehran International Book Fair, the great figures of Iranian science and literature astonished the attendees at the Tarna Media Station.

According to the Iranian Poetry News Agency - Tarna, the eminences of Persian science and literature, including the venerable Hakim Abul-Qasem Ferdowsi, Sheikh Saadi, Rumi, Hafez Shirazi, and Avicenna, graced the Tarna Media Station at the 35th Tehran International Book Fair with their presence.

These distinguished figures, poets and scholars from the 4th to the 8th centuries, displayed their curiosity about modern civilization of the 21st century by examining the microphone and other contemporary devices at the Tarna podium. Among them, Avicenna, a scientist, physician, and polymath, scrutinized these manifestations with particular interest.

Saadi held his book "Golestan," Ferdowsi held his eternal epic "Shahnameh," Hafez had his "Divan of Ghazals," Rumi carried his "Masnavi," and Avicenna possessed his valuable "Book of Healing" in the fields of logic, philosophy, geometry, and mathematics. After a few moments, Ferdowsi, Hafez, and Saadi recited poems from their works, captivating and earning the appreciation of the audience.

Everyone who attended the book fair, in utter astonishment and with various reactions and positive emotions, witnessed individuals in the likeness of the great Ferdowsi, Hafez Shirazi, Master Saadi, Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi, Omar Khayyam, and the esteemed physician and scholar Avicenna.

The performance and acting of these prominent theater artists, along with their professional makeup and costume design, were so convincing that some spectators and passersby, including ourselves, felt as if these great minds had traveled from the past to the present via a time machine. They appeared to warn the young generation of Iran about cultural, ethical, and scientific matters, urging them to stay alert in the face of new crises and to preserve Iran and its rich culture.

Samad Azarakhsh, who created and directed these characters, states: "These personas did not merely serve as external representations of those great figures of science and literature within a theatrical performance but appeared as the hosts of Iranian culture at the book fair. I can say they are more than just performances in roles; it is as if the spirits of these eminent figures have embodied these actors."
